Did you know you can work with this herb in many ways such as greens steamed, saute’d, fresh, making root coffee, using the flower for infused oil, fritters or wine? These are just a few ways of preparation, we will be exploring so much more!
In this workshop you will leave with a reverence towards our most common herbal ally as well as:
-Feeling confident identifying Dandelion herb( not by flower)!
-knowing many uses of all the parts of dandelion
-knowing many ways of preparing and incorporating dandelion into your diet
-knowing some of the best medicinal and nutritive properties of dandelion
-empowered knowing this medicine and food is easily accessible and is free thus saving you money!
-leave with a harvest of this wonderful herb to use at home
This will be a hands on and in the dirt experience as we dig, harvest, and make various preparations of Dandelion for food and medicine from root to flower.
